Following is a list of some of the programs and services provided by the Clay Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD).
All programs and services of the Clay SWCD and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) are offered on a nondiscriminatory basis without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, marital status, or handicap.

Agriculture
Landowners in Clay County who need financial assistance to install Agricultural Best Management Practices (Ag BMPs) can inquire about a low interest loan at the Clay Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) Office.

Order Trees Through the Conservation Tree Program
Each year the Clay Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) offers Trees - Conservation Tree Program thousands of trees to Clay County landowners at inexpensive prices.

Feedlot Program
The Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) will assist feedlot operators with registration, questions pertaining to feedlot regulations and check out compliance when complaints are received.

Mn Ag Water Quality Certification Program (MAWQCP)
The MAWQCP is a voluntary opportunity for farmers and agricultural land owners to take the lead in implementing conservation practices to protect our water.

No-Till / Minimum-Till Drill Rental Program
The Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) Office has 2 John Deere 15-foot no-till drills available for rent to Clay County landowners.

Reinvest in Minnesota (RIM) Reserve Program
The Reinvest In Minnesota (RIM) Reserve Program strives to protect and improve water quality by encouraging landowners to retire environmentally sensitive land from agricultural production.
